central Augusta County in western Virginia...
the city of Staunton in western Virginia...

* until 130 am EDT

* at 1029 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated showers producing heavy
rain across the area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of one inch are possible.
Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Staunton... Verona... Trimbles Mill and Swoope.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
