Quite breezy as well so things had to be wetted down well by late afternoon.

Today is middle-of-the-week fertilizer day plus irrigating it in if necessary. There are some very brief, light showers impacting us now so maybe they'll stick around for the daylight hours but I won't hold my breath!

So, I took a half hour out from my leisure activities to irrigate all of the crops! I had done a fertilizing application in the morning and the irrigation worked it into the soil. The plants seem to be happy now that the Sun has gone down and growth resumes after a sunny day of photosynthesis! We did not see much of the eclipse here as only 10% of the Sun was in shadow. Hardly any difference in the actual brightness of an otherwise bright day.
