In our partnership with CCDC (Colorado Cross Disability Coalition) we've sought out those in dire need of help in the wake of the fires; one of our friends at the CCDC learned of a woman, H.M., in need of our help:
H.M. is a mom of a teenaged daughter who lost custody of her daughter in summer 2011. She has made wonderful progress on her treatment plan, and is nearing return of her daughter. She had moved into new housing the day before the Woodland Heights fire in Estes Park, and had not even unpacked boxes before being forced to flee with her life when the fire approached her home. She lost all of her personal belongings.
We are moving forward with providing assistance where we recognize a need; contact us here or you can go to the CCDC website by clicking here if you know of someone you feel could qualify.
As always, we do the good works that we do with your help: volunteering your time, materials and funding helps us to help others. Click the Paypal button above or email us at volunteers to offer assistance, whether in goods or services.
